Century v Solstice Class

Here's a question for current Celebrity cruisers. If I can scrape enough money together, I would like to return to X and do another T/A. I'm trying to decide between the 14 night T/A on the Century or the 13 night on the Ecllipse. For what I want to spend, I can get a RS suite or a sky site on he Eclipse. Thoughts ongetting a better cabin on an older ship or a sky suite on the Eclipse....

Much as I like the Century class of ships - go Eclipse.

Go with Eclipse, especially for a sailing with less ports. There is so much more to do and see on the ship.

Thanks for the imput. I was leaning that way as well. Now all I have to do is convince DW to take a smaller cabin.....:):):)

I just finished reading your review of the Solstice. Wow..... Hopefully I'll get my DW to read this and she'll choose the Eclipse as well.....:):):)

Take into consideration that....

As each Solstice Class ship hits the waves - Celebrity shifts their best staff to that ship.

The food is front line and the ships are fantastic.

The Century and Millie class ships suffer a little because of this.

As much as I love Century I would also choose Eclipse. There are several sea days in a row on a TA and there is much more to do on this ship---from entertainment to more restaurant choices, bigger spa, hot glass show, etc.
