Hi everyone. We definitely want to go to the George Washington house in the morning. Any ideas on what we should do after that? It's or first time to Barbados and we're really looking forward to it! We enjoy water sports and relaxing on a nice beach. Thanks for any help!

We enjoy water sports and relaxing on a nice beach. ===> Carlisle Bay!

When you're at Geo.Washington House (nicely presented,btw..)

you won't be that far from Carlisle Bay at its Southern end!

All you gotta do is walk down Bush Hill to Bay Street, turn right and walk maybe a half mile

until you get to The Esplanade -a large open public area on the left-

from where you can see the sea and the yachts anchored

(and your ship in the distance!).

Hit the beach at that point..

and continue walking in that general direction, towards your ship

until you find a beach hangout to your liking!

Lobster for lunch maybe?

You'll find that watersports activities are available along Carlisle Bay,too.

How's that?

Wow! Great photos! Thank you so much for the information!

I'm assuming taxis are plentiful for the return to the ship.

Yes, if you make your way out onto Bay Street(again) -it follows the curve of the bay..

down near Lobster Alive or Boatyard(big umbrellas on the beach) -you'll find taxis around there.

Just stand around looking like an obviously-lost tourist and they'll find ya! :D

They've all got TAXI signs on the roofs of their cars..and Z license plates.

Now you know!
