Beach excursion while in Nassua

There are some public beaches that you do NOT need "daypasses" for....if you don't need the pool, then that's an economical way to do it. I can't remember the name ,but the port of call boards should have it...sorry!

And don't forget--the ship will be virtually empty, and it's a great time to make use of the ship's pool!!!

My husband and I walked from the pier past the Hilton and found a public beach......free and quiet. It was perfect. We had view of the ship and enjoyed the warm waters. We did rent towels for a few bucks because we hadn't planned to go to the beach and didn't come prepared. I guess we got lucky finding it....so nice in refreshing in the hot August heat!!!!

was just there on Saturday-unexpected port due to not being able to tender in GSC and there is a public beach past the Straw Market down from the pier but it was full of lots of rocks and broken glass in the sand...wasnt very impressed with it at all...we just walked along the shore for a bit...wouldnt want to really spend TIME there i would imagine there are MUCH BETTER PLACEs to spend the day!

On Paradise Island there is a hotel just east of the Atlantis Hotel-Casino- Resort, and just east of that is a public beach - any taxi driver will get you there - and there are always taxis cruising there to bring you back. It is about 15 minutes from the cruise pier.
Pretty sure it's Cabbage beach!;) See the port of calls forum for more info!
