We had a similar experience a copupe of yeras ago too, even from the UK I was able to email my voucher through, admittedly to the UK office, but it was applied very fast. In my experience though the UK tend to be more repsonsive, mainly because their team is not as large - but well done Royal Caribbean.

I mailed my certificate in to C&A and they received it quickly. I discovered that since I was using a travel agent it needed their approval prior to implementation. The reason is because it impacts their commission. There was no issue in my TA sending approval but this is a FYI for all.
