mrmac Posted January 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Any recent Mexico Radiance cruisers out there - did the ship time get adjusted ahead more than the one hour for Cabo? All the other ports south of there are 2 hours ahead of West Coast time but some ships don't adjust the second hour. Did they tell you if PV time was different from the ship's time? Need to know this for planning non-ship excursions. Thanks.
robtulipe Posted January 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2010 We leave Monday on a Radiance 11 night cruise and what I've been told by other previous cruisers that did this or the similar 10 night cruise that during the Radiance's longer Mexican Riviera itineraries that goes into two different time zones is that the ship does adjust it's time to the local time. I've also read that the Mariner doesn't adjust it time for it's seven night itinerary which only goes into one different (1+) time zone
cb at sea Posted January 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2010 You really don't need to worry about any time changes...you will need to be aware of the ship's time only....if your excursion meets at 10am, meet them at 10am SHIP'S TIME....your guide will understand how this works. Use a watch (not your cell phone) to "synchronize" ship's time with your watch, so you won't risk missing the ship's departure!

mrmac Posted January 30, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Thanks Patti & Jim. You guys look like Radiance experts! We've only done a ship visit on her. Every ship seems to handle the time changes on the MR differently. We need to know so we can book independent excursions. Did they heat the pools going to and from Mexico? Those days can get chilly. Thanks.
