Transportation from airport to ship in Rome

We're cruising on Windstar in October. Does anyone have good suggestions for transportation from the airport to the ship? The Windstar prices for transportation seem high.

What cruise are you on. I'm booked on the Wind Surf to Barcelona leaving October 31, but have will have nothing to to with the airport. I'm arriving that morning on the Crystal Serenity, and an extra week on Windstar seemed like the ideal way to extend my vacation.

Thank you, that was a really helpful thread. We're going on the 10/10/10 - 10/17/10 cruise from Rome to Venice via Capri, Taormina, Dubrovnik, Hvar & Kotor. We'll be spending some extra time in Venice at the end, but plan to go right from the airport to the ship in Rome.

Civitavecchia is an expensive port for both Rome city or Airport!
