SF Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Was told they don't have dry cleaning anymore but some new type of cleaning for items that can't be washed. Is this true and if so has anyone used this method on the Crown Princess yet? We will be Elite after this upcoming cruise and would like to know what perks to expect in regards to laundry for our April cruise. Some items can't be washed as we don't want them to shrink...would like to know what others have done.

The laundry service was regular laundry and they did a pretty good job. Someone said they had a method that was "wet" dry cleaning but we opted not to try it. SF Posted February 3, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2010 So they did have another option other than just regular laundry if I read your post correctly but you chose not to use it????? Also did you find the regular laundry shrunk your clothes? What about mens dress shirts, did they iron the shirts also?
caribill Posted February 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2010 did they iron the shirts also? They press the shirts and do a good job.
Rob & Beckys mom Posted February 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2010 I have sent out silk shirts, tops & pants on many Princess cruises & have never had a problem. They come back just the same as they do at home from our dry cleaners. Jan
Rare Coral Posted February 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2010 We sent out a silk shirt on the Crown in November and it came back nice. No clue what they did to it.
