Lizzie1213 Posted February 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2010 we found a great deal on a cruise in April. However, the cabin will be on the A deck below the main deck, on the same floor as the laundry and infirmiry? will this make a difference? We never spend time in our cabin except to sleep, shower, and dress. We don't want it to be too noisy or uncomfortable though. any thoughts? thank you
lady_cruiser Posted February 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2010 First welcome to Cruise Critic. Let us know which ship you are on so we can check out where your cabin is (i.e. how far from the laundry, etc.). We just cruise with a couple (we met onboard on Conquest) and they loved being on Deck 1 and found it to be quit quiet.

cb at sea Posted February 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2010 There's still another deck below you--for crew...you shouldn't have noise issues!
texkan Posted February 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2010 If the price is great and as you stated, you do not use your cabin that much, Go For It!
ehfl Posted February 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2010 Smart travelers always carry earplugs. So noise is only a problem for those travelers that are not as smart.
