cabins below main deck

we found a great deal on a cruise in April. However, the cabin will be on the A deck below the main deck, on the same floor as the laundry and infirmiry? will this make a difference? We never spend time in our cabin except to sleep, shower, and dress. We don't want it to be too noisy or uncomfortable though. any thoughts? thank you

First welcome to Cruise Critic. Let us know which ship you are on so we can check out where your cabin is (i.e. how far from the laundry, etc.).

We just cruise with a couple (we met onboard on Conquest) and they loved being on Deck 1 and found it to be quit quiet.
