A question for the experts......

....here on CC. Looking at doing a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale on Grandeur in September. Can anyone reccomend a hotel for a one night pre-cruise stay? I would definitely like one that would allow a vehicle to be left on site but that is not a deal breaker. Thanks in advance,,,, Jim

We've cruised out of Lauderdale several times and we always stay at the Embassy Suites on 17th Street. They'll let you park your car there for the duration of the cruise - $10.00 a day last time we were there - and they offer shuttle service to your ship. You also get the Embassy Suites freebies such as manager's cocktail hour in the evening and free breakfast in the morning.

We have stayed at and loved the Embassy Suites as well..There is a charge for the shuttle service as of last year...Taxi might be cheaper..I would price both..Good luck and enjoy !!!

LaQuinta lets you leave your car in the lot. They have a free shuttle to the port, but you need to take a cab back.

We stayed at the Embassy each every time we sailed out of Fort Lauderdale. It was a great deal with all the inclusions, and the price was right.

We just stayed at the brand new Hyatt Place in Fort Lauderdale, south of the airport. Very close to the port, free shuttle and free parking. Awesome rooms. If you stay there, ask for a room away from 95.
