Hotel in Barcelona

We are looking for a moderately priced hotel in Barcelona for a couple of days prior to our cruise. Nothing too fancy, but clean and safe. Accessible to the airport and the pier. Something roughly equivalent to a Marriott Courtyard. Any suggestions?

HI there, IF you scroll down on this page you will find several other threads about hotels in Barcelona. The airport and the pier are far apart.

From the airport to the city you can use taxis,metro, or the airport bus.

A central location in the city is the Placa Catalunya which has an airport bus stop, +all other public transportation and hop on hop off bus and tours.

"Moderate price" means different things to different people so a number would be helpful.

I don't know exactly how to find a European equivalent to a USA chain motel like Marriott Courtyard. You will find modern , clean hotels throughout Barcelona.

Hi- The Sol group of hotels has an offer on at the moment, might be worth having a look at their site. They have about 4 hotels in Barcelona.
