Chrispy1104 Posted February 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Hubby and I are looking for something more quiet/remote in St. Croix. We love doing group excursions, but we want a day where just the 2 of us can explore the island and beaches without mass chaos. We're thinking of just letting a taxi taking us for a little tour, peaceful beach and lunch/drinks. Obviously it's helpful to know where we should be going, where we can stop AND more importantly, knowing how to make it safely back to the ship on time! Thank you for your suggestions! cb at sea Posted February 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2010 A guidebook will help you make your decision....they tell about all the beaches...how "secluded" or family-friendly they are, how to get there, what it will cost...if there's food/drink/restrooms/rentals there....all you need to know! A guidebook is the best investment in your vacation you can make.

Chrispy1104 Posted February 21, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted February 21, 2010 You may wish to post this question on the Ports of Call Section - St. Croix. How do I find it? I searched the Ports section, but couldn't find where to post my question. I'm SO bad at this stuff! Thanks again! Chrispy
MIcruiser99 Posted February 21, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2010 When you go to Ports of Call, click on Caribbean, this takes you to the next screen that gives a list of islands, here you will find St. Croix. I go to ports of call and usually find alot of info on tours for that particular island.
