Calling all CCL Experts! GTY price drop?

QUESTION please.........

 

If you book a Guarantee stateroom and there is a price drop do you get the price drop like you would another booking rate???

I have searched the CCL web site and can't seem to find anywhere that says you can't:confused:

 

If in fact you do know where this is stated a copy of the link or copy and paste would be appreciated.

I do know that after final payment you only get price drops with ES. If you are before final payment (you dont say) AND you have not yet been assigned a cabin, i.e. you are still a guarantee ... then you can get the price drop.

As far as where it is written ... its more whats NOT written, only the small print on the early saver rate says you will get OBC if the price goes down and your price is guaranteed ... none of the others say this.

You can ask for a upgrade if there is a higher category that matches what you paid ..Iv done that 3 times. I figure doesnt do any good to beat myself up that Id rather have the money, get upgraded and look forward to the cruise.
