Martin64 Posted January 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2005 As I love scallops, was wondering if they make the menu on the Nav of the Seas any night (hopefully more than one night)?:) Thanks, Monica
joeyancho Posted January 24, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2005 I have been on 9 RCCL cruises and have never had scallops as a main course. The do however, make a nice risotto with bay scallops. But this is not what you were hoping for. You can ask the head waiter if it would be possible for the chef to make you a scallop dinner. On our last cruise a lady at our table requested fried shrimp and they made it for her. On Carnival the do serve Coquille St. Jacques (scallops in a cream sauce topped with melted swiss cheese). It is very good. Hope this helps.
Martin64 Posted January 24, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 24, 2005 Thanks joeyancho - you sound you you would know (9 RCCL cruises!). Too bad. I just discovered them recently and think they are better than lobster! Monica
