Navigator of the Seas Pictures Posted

We were on a five-day cruise on Navigator of the Seas (02/27-03/04) with stops at Labadee and Ocho Rios. I've posted pictures of the ship and Labadee on Webshots.

We really enjoyed this cruise, which we booked at the last minute. The cruise director Simeon was excellent, as was the wait staff in the main dining room. Casino slots were very tight for everyone, although we heard there were some nice winnings at the tables. Shows were just OK . . . just not our taste in music. Ice show was very good. It was a very relaxing cruise and the perfect itinerary for a quick get-away.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. Thanks for posting the pictures -- they were great! I am thinking of booking a last minute cruise for me and my mom and am looking at the Navigator again because of the pricing. What did you do in Jamaica?

Thanks,

Nancy

Nancy, we just got off in Ocho Rios and walked along the pathway that followed the beach on your left as you leave the ship. We have been to Jamaica before and I wasn't physically up to climbing Dunns River Falls, so we didn't book a tour. Our tablemates went on a private tour that included tube rafting and climbing the falls. They really enjoyed the day. I don't know the name of their tour company, but they told us they found the guide on the CC board.

My mom wouldn't be up to anything physical either so that leaves out any rafting or DRF which is fine. I'm not really sure what to do. I was thinking of maybe buying a day pass at Sandals or something. I want her to have a good time. We cruise often but she does not.

Thank you for all the comments . . . I like to take pictures of the ship because that's what so many people ask about. I never got pictures of the Windjammer because there were always so many people around the stations you couldn't see anything. On a five-day there wasn't time to get everywhere. We usually spend a little time on the Helicopter Pad but didn't make that either. I guess I just need to return to the Navigator to fill in the gaps :)

SamFritz, our waiter was talking about going to Europe soon and sailing out of Rome. That's a great place to start a Med cruise. We're heading back to the Med next summer with our granddaughter.
