Money Worth

Recommended Posts

I feel that I have always gotten more than my money's worth. The amount of food available all of the time, the entertainment, etc. The cruise fare is well worth it. It is usually cheaper for us to cruise than to spend a week at the beach in our home state.

Have you alway get your money worth when cruising with Carnival

Interrocation Room,

Yes. If it was not worth it, we'd have tried it and moved on. Granted we have tried just about everything and keep coming back to cruising so it's safe to say that we ALWAYS GET OUR MONEY'S WORTH. :)

For me, vacations are not just about the money I spend or do not spend, but about the time I have with friends and family and the ability to relax. So with that line of thought, yes, it has been very much worth the money.

If you were to add up all you'd spend for airfare to 3/4 islands, three meals a day plus snacks, entertainment, "maid service", hotels, etc for one week, then compare that to what you have to spend to do all that for a week on your own....then yes, definately getting my moneys worth.

Well I always have believed that cruising is a wonderful value for the money, but my boyfriend and I had a romantic night away this week and realized just how much value it is. We went out to supper, had a 3 course meal....$100.... a night (on a winter special) at the spa.... $100..... so that's 1 night for $200...... Now think about what a 7 day cruise costs....

We cruise inside, and a cruise has never come close to what it would cost us to just stay in our province.... or in our CITY for a week. That was ONE meal and ONE night....... ahhh i love cruising. After we got our bill for supper I looked at my boyfriend and said "can we please just go on a cruise now instead?" hahaha seriously.... we would eat just as good or better whenever you want, and be on a ship and see numerous ports of call... value for money isn't even a good word to describe it. More like EXTRAORDINARY value for the money!

Loaded question. I feel like we get our moneys worth.

810.70 for 2 OV cabin 4 nights including tax and prepaid tips.

That is roughly $200 a night for two. Where else can you go and have an ocean view and all your meals included for $200 a night for 2- Not to mention entertainment and getting away from it all (no excuses). Land vacations people will call you anyway...

Now I shop and try to stick to less the $100 a night per person including tips. I have to have a minimum of Ocean view. Now I think if you spend more then that it might not be worth it. A suite would not be worth it for us. Now when DS starts going with us we might have to revist the idea of a suite.

I do, especially if I win in the Casino.

Dave

I normally get hammered in Carnival's casinos, but the wife wins fairly often. Won big on Cunard and NCL. About won the ship on MSC [won consistently EVERY night on a weeks cruise] RCL have won a bit AND got slaughtered too.

I can not put a price on not having to cook, clean, wash clothes....go to work.....work around the house....deal with traffic on the commute to work and back...I get to see great sites...meet new people...visit great islands...get closer to my wife......gamble.....drink.......you get my point. So every cruise I have been on has been worth every penny spent and more.............
