Emerald Adult Pool Area Question

On the Emerald, is there an adult only pool/area that is free? Or is it only pay. I believe the Emerald has a section where you can rent a chair for half a day for like $15. Do they also have a Sanctuary area like on their other ships?

There is no charge for the Lotus Spa Pool or the Aft Pool and both are adults only. Many people think the Spa Pool is part of the Sanctuary and while it is in the same general area there is no charge.

Yes, the Emerald has a sanctuary area and if you want to book a lounge chair for the week then you need to get there and do it as soon as you board as they go fast. It's $15.00 per day (total $105.00 for week) if you do it by the week. You get to pick the lounge chair and area you want. If you wish to do it on a day to day basis or only on sea days then you must be there about 30 mins. prior to their opening which I believe is 8am or you will not get a lounge. They start lining up early. They only have a few to sell on a daily basis and the cost is $10.00 for morning session or $10.00 for afternoon or full day $20.00.

Where do you go to reserve for the week? Do you actually go to the Sanctuary area when you board to book these, or do you book them at the Spa? Also, what is included in the $15/day for the week? Just the lounge, or is there anything else included?

Thanks for the answers!

Yes, you go to the sanctuary area to reserve for the week. For the $15.00 per lounge per day for the week you get a thick padded lounge chair in whatever location you choose, they will bring you flavored water if requested (free) and they have a simply menu you can choose items from but there is a charge for that and someone will get it for you. Basically it's a quiet area to relax and you are guaranteed that your lounge will always be available.
