QM2 in Fremantle on Sunday March 14

The Port of Fremantle has issued the following timetable (times are UTC/GMT + 8 hrs):

"Queen Mary 2 is now arriving at Fremantle Port earlier on Sunday 14 March. The ship will be in Gage Roads at 5.45am and berthing at 6.30-7am.

The arrival schedule is (times are approximate):

• 5am - pilot on board at the Fairway Buoy (north-east of Rottnest and west of Scarborough)
  
• 5.45am - in Gage Roads
  
• 6.30am - turning in the harbour
  
• 7am - tied up at berth (Fremantle Passenger Terminal).
  

The ship is still scheduled to depart at about 5pm Sunday 14 March."

Hi - have you been glued to the Fremantle webcam since 6.00 am too!!!

 

May wander down there at lunchtime though the terminal is a secure area today, would have loved to get to the viewing deck.

 

Looks like we might be sailing on her in Feb next year from Cape Town as our Star Princess South American cruise has just been cancelled.

Hi - have not been up since quite that early (did not think about QM2 coming in). She sure is quite a sight - we were in port with her twice last Nov)
