Taking Luggage on Board

We are going on a 7 night cruise to Alaska in August and will only be taking one suitcase each together with hand luggage. This is because we are travelling from the UK to Canada and taking the cruise whilst there and the luggage allowance isn't great.

My question is will we be able to take the case with us when we board or do we have to hand it over to the staff to deliver later?

Val - As long as your case will fit through the x-ray machine you can carry it aboard with you.

Yes, you can carry it onboard if you wish. It will have to fit in the scanner which is like the ones used at the airport.

yes we wheeled all our luggage on in Seattle, no problem.
