Which cafe or beach bar in PV?

Along Playa Los Muertos there are many cafes and beach bars. A few years ago we used the lounges and umbrellas of one of these for no charge, just buying a couple of beers and a huge serving of guacamole and chips. Can someone reccomend a specific place? A long while back I wrote down La Palapa and El Dorado from this board. Still good?

Yes they are still doing business. La Palapa is more upscale, also Amapas.

Near the pier are Cuates and Cuetes and close to that also Langoustines.

Plenty of choices.

All serving drinks and meals for a nice day at the beach.

Burros Bar is another good one, less upscale then those most of those mentioned. It is just slightly down from beach from those ones with a sign that says we dare you to come in. It is a favourite hang out for many of us who return often to PV :)

Burro's Bar is indeed also a nice bar. Nice place for happy hour.

But if you want to swim in the ocean donot do it there. Sometimes at that section there can be big waves, and the current can be extremely strong.

As you likely recall, Los Muertos is so thick with smil'n folks; it would seem best to locate the ambiance and available location that suites your mood best. Los Muertos pics below
