Current wi-fi cost on Spirit?

Does anyone know the current cost for internet or wi-fi on spirit? how good are the connections and can i use my laptop from the room to connect? Were going to alaska in may and unfortunetly im taking a mini-mester class online and will have to do some school work and submit it during the cruise,. what a bummer!

Iv heard you can buy something in the ports and use it in more than one port. I would hate to have to spend the $100 for a package, even if you get free bonus minutes, its still only a couple of hours and the connection isnt as good as you get on land.
