Super Shuttle stupid questions

Recommended Posts

Reserved Super Shuttle for round trip transfers from LAX to San Pedro cruise terminal - Mariner of the Seas 6/6/2010.

Previously have always used RCCL's bus transfer. My question is - will the Super Shuttle driver unload our luggage for us? If so, what happens then? Are we responsible for transferring it to the ship? Does RCCL have luggage handlers? If so, how much to tip per bag? Thanks in advance.:)

They will drop you off right next to the terminal. Shuttle drivers typically assist with the bags. Baggage handlers are there to assist. They will get the bags on the ship. We usually tip $1 per bag.

Thanks Puffinater.;)

At the pier, there will be porters to help with the bags.

Perhaps it is not anyone else's experience, but mine has been that Super Shuttle drivers are SURLY and MEAN and don't want anything except MORE tip than whatever you are offering them.

My experience is just the opposite...friendly and appreciative, based on many times many places..:)

Oh no - Just cancelled with Primetime after reading some bad reviews and went with Super Shuttle which got much better ratings.
