weather in Bahamas in August?

We will be sailing on Norwegian Sky in August. What should we expect for weather? Except hot, of course.

It will definitely be hot, VERY humid, and possibly rainy. August is also a prime hurricane month. Aug, Sept, and Oct. historically have more Hurricanes than any other months. (Hurricane Season runs from June 1 through Nov. 30). Just saying.......

 

 

However, I've enjoyed some great cruises in August and September! (Bring a lot of tissues to wipe off the sweat!)

Forget tissues...bring a rag. The humidity will be very high, but there will be breezes. Mid to upper 80's day and night.

HOT, HOT, HOT, and HUMID....it's August! What would you expect? Oh--hurricanes are possible....

Hot, hot, hot. Humid, humid, humid. And, possibly, rain, rain, rain. But, I've travelled to Bahamas twice at that time of year, and even though the weather was bad, we had fun, fun, fun!

Hot, but the ocean will be at the perfect temperature. If you are into water sports you’ll have fun. And the warm tropical nights on deck are so romantic.
