Ketchikan - Misty Fjords

Has anyone done a tour of Misty Fjords by one of the "jet-powered" catamarans rather than "flightseeing"? What can you tell me about it? I see it lasts about 4 hours and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile. Do you cruise by so fast that you can't see anything or are there some wonderful sights to see?

I have sailed in Misty Fjords but not with the jet boat. It is a very scenic area. But flying in allows even more viewing- like the alpine lakes etc. This sounds like a nice option however.

Thanks for your feedback, Budget Queen. I was hoping to hear from someone who has actually done this tour but I think we might go ahead and give the "jet-powered" catamaran to Misty Fjords a try. Never can get enough of the fantastic Alaskan scenery!
