brunolvr Posted January 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2005 Has anyone done a tour of Misty Fjords by one of the "jet-powered" catamarans rather than "flightseeing"? What can you tell me about it? I see it lasts about 4 hours and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile. Do you cruise by so fast that you can't see anything or are there some wonderful sights to see? Budget Queen Posted January 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2005 I have sailed in Misty Fjords but not with the jet boat. It is a very scenic area. But flying in allows even more viewing- like the alpine lakes etc. This sounds like a nice option however.

I was hoping to hear from someone who has actually done this tour but I think we might go ahead and give the "jet-powered" catamaran to Misty Fjords a try. Never can get enough of the fantastic Alaskan scenery!
famcruisefun Posted January 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2005 Are you booking this through the cruiseline or independantly? Sounds like fun - curious who is doing it.
