Brilliance of the Seas - Deck Seven

We are looking at booking a cruise on Brilliance of the Seas and when I go to book the cabin it gives a couple of cabin numbers that have obstructed views but when we choose either E1, 2 or 3 it appears that all the balcony cabins on deck 7 have obstructed views. Can anyone let me know if that is right or is it only the couple listed at the beginning of the booking system. Thanks

We stayed in a balcony on deck 8 of the radiance. I believe the obstructed view is due to the lifeboat covers which extend straight out from the deck 7 balconies. They don't obstruct your view looking outwards, but you can't look straight down at the water.

None of the deck 7 have actual obstructions...yes, the lifeboats are BELOW you, but it's not in your line of vision, unless you're checking for barnacles on the hull! You can look down and see the ocean--just not the actual side of the ship...it's like looking out the front window of your car...you CAN see the road...just not your tires!

Thanks guys. That comment about looking at your tyres really put it in perspective. I just love looking at the water. We have never had a balcony before so want to make sure we get the right one for what we can afford

go to deck 8 or 9 for the best view, there are E1's and 2's on those decks also.
