Actually, each passenger is allowed to bring only one 7.50 ltr of wine on board at embarkation.

From the ports - you can get it on if they're really busy checking folks in; otherwise, they'll take it until the last night of the cruise.

Picked up a bottle in Ocho Rios while on Freedom last Nov. Totally expecting them to take it and give it to back to me on the last day. Put in through the x-ray and they handed it back to me. I just smiled and said "Thanks!"
