I know you can bring two bottles of wine aboard but can you bring wine on from one of the ports ?

You must sneak it onboard from a port. Otherwise, they'll hold it for you until the last night of the cruise.

Actually, each passenger is allowed to bring only one 7.50 ltr of wine on board at embarkation.

From the ports - you can get it on if they're really busy checking folks in; otherwise, they'll take it until the last night of the cruise.

Allowing 1 bottle of wine per person to be brought at embarcation on board is more generous than the other cruise lines.

The only place where you are allowed to bring it on from ports is in Europe.

Picked up a bottle in Ocho Rios while on Freedom last Nov. Totally expecting them to take it and give it to back to me on the last day. Put in through the x-ray and they handed it back to me. I just smiled and said "Thanks!"
