Who has replaced Captain Dag?

Just wondering who has replaced Captain Dag,I am scheduled to sail on the Voyager next month,and would like to know who the Captain is.

From the blog of another cc member on the WC now, the Dag's replacement is "Captain Mario". Have no idea who he is, or his history with Regent, and the name is unfamiliar to me. Editing to add a link to CD Jamie's blog, as it has a short blurb about the new captain

Gianmario Sanguinetti. He was captain when we did Rio-FLL in December. Nice guy, very professional, teetotaller.

I think he is the captain that took over from Capt. Dag in October of 2008 and 2009. Agree with Wendy, he did a good job on our Cape Town to Rio cruise last November.

Thanks for the info,Captain Mario is a great guy and a very capable seaman.We have sailed from Athens to Florida with him last year and found him to be very approachable and informative with the passengers.
