fancy_nance_126 Posted April 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2010 My husband and I will be taking our first cruise with our son next month. I was wondering how we're going to get from the airport to the cruise terminal with our son who is now 12 months old. We won't be bringing his carseat with us. In the past we've just taken taxis, but I'm not sure what the policy is as far as having kids in taxis. Are there buses that go to the terminal? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! 6rugrats Posted April 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2010 You don't say where your departure is, but if it's in Florida, law requires your son to be in a car seat in a cab. You can look into shuttle services that wouldn't need a car seat or that would provide one. Are you flying in the day of your cruise and going directly from the airport to the ship?? cb at sea Posted April 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2010 If you're not bringing the carseat, the shuttles are the way to go...no seatbelts, so no carseat needed!
tinaka Posted April 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2010 Some private shuttle services will provide a carseat. For instance, if you are sailing out of Port Canaveral, the Cocoa Beach shuttle will provide a carseat.
