loulani Posted April 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Our time is getting close to our first Silversea cruise and it will be on the Silver Spirit. We would like to make our dinner reservations as soon as we board. However, the time will depend on the productions in the theatre. Does anyone have information as to what time the shows begin? Does each night have a different production? We will be on a seven night cruise. Linda
Wild&Free Posted April 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2010 I just returned from my first Silver Seas cruise on the Cloud in March. Dinner in The Restaurant was open seating beginning at 7:30. You only need to make reservations for the even-more-upscale restaurant on the ship. The shows were different every night, and generally began between 10 and 10:30. Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise!

Wellseasoned Posted April 27, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2010 Interesting, Malcolm and Wes. On the maiden voyage, they had two shows. When you and we were on the Spirit maiden TA they had cancelled the earlier one because the noise bothered spa patrons on the deck above the show lounge. Now they are again doing the early show. Did they do something about the sound insulation, or was it a matter of increased demand?
Budda11 Posted April 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2010 I think it is to clear the numbers in the bar areas when about 500 are on board - remember on the TA the bars were full from 6:30 till 7:45. Just my thoughts.
wripro Posted April 27, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 27, 2010 Don't the bars accommodate all the passengers at the same time?
