Eating and sunset (Caribbean/December)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am planning my first ever cruise in the Caribbean and have decided on the Constellation leaving in December. My question is: when does the sun set and considering that seeing the sunset is something not to be missed, when is the best time to eat, 6:30 or 8:30?

BTW - we have decided to try the Constellation over the Golden Princess or the Serenade of the Seas. The food recommendations are what is driving our decision. Any input? We know about the Goat Cheese Souffle!

Hi Rae....cruisebud:)

I always prefer late seating...but that is just me....you will get all kinds of replies....

6:30 is just too early for me on vacation......that is when I am just about going back to my cabin to shower and to start getting ready for dinner;) ...then it is on to the Martini Bar for a drink before dinner!

I totally agree that the late seating is preferred. Most of the older passengers and passengers with young children dine at the early seating. If you are hungry early there is always room service for a snack.
