How do you get from Seward to Vancouver?

If you take a one way passage from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska, how do you get back to Vancouver? How long does it take?

From your name I'm assuming that you're from Boston and on a one way cruise one would generally fly to Vancouver,cruise and then fly home from Seward. If it's important to return to Vancouver you would have 3 choices, ferry, drive or fly. Which one you pick would depend on how much of a hurry you are or how big your budget is.

Most people who cruise from Vancouver to Seward will either take a train or bus to Anchorage from Seward and then fly home from Anchorage.

Most people fly out of Anchorage. BUT a significant reason to go one way is to tour interior for another week. Strongly consider it- it is definately worthwhile and most people don't make frequent trips to Alaska. You can also consider a back to back cruise- that returns to Vancouver. But your flights most likely won't take you back to Vancouver. You will want to book an "open jaw" Fly into Vancouver out of Anchorage. From Seward it is a 3 hour bus ride (my last choice) back to Anchorage, 4+hour rail, or self drive- only rental available from Hertz- expect about $200/day.
