In 1998, we stayed at the HOTEL REGENCIA COLON BARCELONA. It has an excellent location next to the Cathedral and right near the Barcelona Ramblas,. It is in the heart of the Gothic quarter, five minutes away from both Catalunya Square and Barcelona’s scenic harbor. It is the sister hotel to the nearby Colon Hotel that gets very good reviews, is a little more costly and higher rated.

The rate, right now, as an example, for the date of June 6, 2011, would 105 euro. With breakfast for two, 129 euro.

 

Location is very important in Barcelona in order to maximize your time and absorb this city's great charm, beauty and architecture.

we are going on the same cruise !! My wife and me took a cruise with the cloud in april and we felled in love with the ship !! We keep our fingers crossed to get some good sailing weather, has anyone does the transatlantic during november??

 

We are staying in the arts hotel prior to the cruise,

We have done two TAs, one in Nov 08 on Oceania's Regatta (Barcelona to Fl.) and one in Nov 09 on Celebrity's Equinox (Rome to FL) Both cruises were excellent and the weather was great.
