How's the coffee on Celebrity?

The coffee on Celebrity is more to the European taste than yours. American coffee is very weak and undrinkable to most Europeans. Unfortunately your Starbucks and such have spread over here so our taste buds will also be diluted!

You can buy Cafe Britt on their web site - especially if you travel RCCL and I believe Celebrity. The deal on RCCL was 20 bags ( we chose Tarazzu and Tres Rios) 10 bags each for a total of $99.00 free shipping. When we were on the Brilliance last year they had an order form which we used. We ran out just before our AOS cruise this January. Called Cafe Britt and they said they still had a deal with RCCL. UNFORTUNATELY when we got on board the Port lecturer said they did not have the forms on AOS. When I got home I called Cafe Britt (800#) they asked for ship, date of voyage and cabin number and less than a week later we had 20 bags ( 12 oz ) for us and 20 bags for a friend - it is YUMMY.

Well then, maybe you have never sailed on Princess.... I dont know what the big deal is either, but the coffee is just horrible... Really, it is not drinkable.

 

On Princess I brought a 4 pot Farberwear coffee pot, that is small and travels well... On the Mercury, the first day I made our own coffee, and also had room service coffee. Much to my surprise, the room service coffee was very good... I never used our own coffee pot after the first day.
