Conquest Smoking policy

I don't smoke but we will be traveling with a friend that does. I was wanting to see if anyone knows the smoking policy on Carnival Conquest and where I can possibly find it on their website.

Thanks

Carnival has designated smoking areas on all their ships.

For the most part.....it is pretty consistant.

On the Conquest....your friend can smoke in the casino, piano bar, disco and sports bar ....

They can smoke outdoors by the pool on the Starboard (right) side.

They can smoke in their cabins and on the balconies.

The only important thing for your friend to remember is that they can NOT walk from venue to venue with a lit cigarette....and they can not prop their cabin doors open to air out their cabin....since there is no smoke allowed in the hallways to protect the children from exposure.

They can also smoke in Alfreds, the cigar bar across from the upper level of the back dining room. (deck 4, if they need a inside place on a lower level) ... but deck 5 as mentioned above has lots of places to smoke too.

Thanks for adding that....I was not positive which Cigar Bars are still smoking since a few of them Carnival has changed to nonsmoking.

Can you imagine that......a nonsmoking cigar bar????

Sorry we missed you in Cozumel....we were docked at the International pier.

I saw your ship, and kinda looked at people I passed but dont have any clue what you look like... so I was saying... maybe thats her!!! hahahaha

I walked down to under the bridge to the inernet cafe to get my computer fix. There was nothing near Mahgany Bay in Roatan, and only the dive shop near the port in Belize who had a computer up near the check out desk for customers.

Alfreds on Conquest was still smoking last time I was on.. and still smoking on Triumph in Oxfords last week.

I have never heard of a smoker complaining about not being able to smoke

comfortable and freely.

They are very generous in the smoking areas on the ship.

Thanks Carnival!!:D

Smokers do appreciate it but I hope that other smokers will

realize this and not be abusive of the smoking policies

and cause (even more) problems for non smokers

I will say that on our cruise last week on the Fantasy....I got a cabin that reeked of smoke. But this is the very FIRST TIME in 35 cruises....so that is not a bad percentage.

The Cabin Steward had to use the machine twice....and I emptied an entire bottle of Ozium in the carpet, drapes and the bed skirt. That still did not get it all. Every time we sat on the bed or laid on the pillows....the strench would billow up out of these. I woke up with a violent headache and hoarse....and since I had only had water the night before...it was not a hangover.

So the next day.....the Cabin Steward had replace all the pillows, sheets, duvets etc and while the bed was stripped...I emptied another bottle of Febreeze on the mattress itself. He offered to replace the mattress...but I told him to let me try the Febreeze first.

All that work got 95% of it. Every now and then...you would get a hint. But no more headaches...

I tipped him an extra $50 for all his hard work. And a sent a letter of recommendation to the hotel director to let him know what a wonderful job Sugeng did trying to get the cabin clean.

I don't know what kind of machine that is. You can not be in the room when it is running......
