I was on the Triumph in May of 2008 and they did not offer buckets of beer any more. was this a freak deal? do other ships still have em. I am sailing on the Liberty in December is why im asking.

we were on the triumph june 09 and my friend got the bucket of beer. i think she had to ask but can't remember. but i got a picture of it. lol.. she only did it once didnt feel like carrying it or going back and forth to the room. was a rainy june so there was no outside lounging for us lol but they do still offer it on the ships.

Just got off the Pride. The buckets of beer are still available in fact many of the bartenders/waitresses were upselling them if you just asked for a beer. You saved 2.00 by buying a bucket. We are miller lite drinkers. 4 miller lites were 20.47. You can always ask for more ice if it starts melting.

I've been on 10 cruises and never had a problem getting a bucket of beer. They must have just decided that in May of 2008 that they were not going to sell them on the Triumph..

Always gotten buckets on Carnival. They do limit them though the Lido (and they push them hard there) and have gotten them in the sports bar.

The new price is $5.75 + 15% = $6.61 a beer....You get 4- 16 ouncers in a bucket. They raised the price $.50 a beer and back in December they were right around $21.00 a bucket so now they are about $23.50 now with the small discount.

I am sure someone will come along with the exact amount.

 

Just did a three nighter on the HAL Ryndam when she came back into port after a refit and upgrades. Five 16 ouncers in a bucket for $21.85 and that included the 15% tip.....:eek:

They also had a two four one happy hour in the Crow's Nest from 4 to 6...No matter what you were drinking.....

The buckets are usually only available at Carnival's Lido area bars. Only one time have we also been able to get bucket price with no bucket at the casino bar (sorry I don't remember which ship). If you ask for buckets-o-beer at other bars, they don't sell them. :-)

haha they can't get hot, there is too much ice in the bucket.....stick it back in :)

Just off the Liberty, they had them for sure. Anytime I ordered a single beer the guy would say "come on my man, get a bucket. Save 3 dolla!"

You can buy a bucket of Amstel Light which are twelve ounces in a bucket. Most of the foreign beers are twelve ounces. Some only come in glass bottles, (Stella) but they will pour them into plastic glsses and stick the plastic glasses into a bucket of ice.

 

I've ordered a bucket in the Piano Bar on the Elation.

i dont know what was going on that cruise then i tried to get one several times and couldnt get one.

just more work for the waiter only bringing singles i got to know them really well by the end of it.

can i use my drink coupons for a bucket. i have 12 tickets and a bucket from them would be great. any benifit for using them i guess is really what i am asking. i will be on the spirit if that makes a difference. thanks

go too gift services on the carnival site and i think they are in the popular items choice. it sure helps ease the cost of your onboard account at the end of the cruise. do a search here and there are lots of info on them.
