Abear2 Posted May 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2010 I went on this cruise in September and it was almost turning, so I would suggest beginning/middle October. It was my favorite cruise to date. :) I hope to repeat it again one day.
Terrafreaky Posted May 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Ours was a little too early for colored leaves. (was still a great cruise though :))
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2010 We went the third week of October -- some areas were beautiful - some were already done.
trophy_23 Posted May 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Sept 26-Oct 10 2009 Eurodam. Was a fantastic trip and some places were more colorful than others, but one of our best trips to date. Would do it again in a heartbeat!
SailBadtheSinner Posted May 22, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2010 Canuuk asked: ...let me know when you went on this cruise (Canada/New England) and saw some beautiful Fall leaves. Thanks so much.... I have not done this cruise, but take a look at this fall foliage map for September and October to get a better idea on how Fall colors spread across New England. The map is interactive and is provided by Yankee Magazine. http://www.yankeefoliage.com/peakmap/ SBtS
elcuchio24 Posted May 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2010 Depends on rainfall over the summer, but typically the first two weeks of october are the best.
LindaKE Posted June 3, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 3, 2010 The 2nd week of Oct. last year was too early for peak color in New England, but too late in Quebec. It was also cold. We had snow in 2 ports. Be advised that you need to go inland to see the best color. You won't see a lot if you stay near the port.

CrusinAgain Posted June 8, 2010 #10 Share Posted June 8, 2010 The week of Oct. 16th was too late from Northern Canada all the way down to Virginia since we took a car trip after the cruise hoping for fall colors. We were told about 1 1/2 -2 weeks prior was a beautiful show.
