Room 9289 on Explorer of the Seas

Hey guys, please help!! Never been on Explorer and was wondering is that a good room and deck or is deck nine too high up?? We prefer midship and the furthest I've ever been is Deck 8.

9289 is midship and I truly doubt you'll notice a difference from deck 8 to deck 9....only 2 easy flights of stairs to the pool!
