kicker Posted May 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2010 So anyways, I manage to improve my cabin on Enchantment OTS from a D2 to a D1, so I put a thread on here asking for cabin differences. Cabins are the same size; only answer says the cabins are identical except D1 has better quality bedding. Is that it? I mean, who has time to sleep on a cruise anyways?:o
isujim Posted May 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2010 Some of the best sleep I get all year.........is on a cruise;)
spunkanutter Posted May 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2010 I slept the first half of my cruise last year. Seriously. I told my friend to go out and make new friends, and every time she saw these new people they asked where I was. They started to not believe that she had a roommate after a while cuz I was out of sight from Sunday to Wednesday! Then I didn't sleep again til the following Sunday :D PARRRRRTTYYYYYYY
PrincesScuba Posted May 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Actually, there is no difference between D1 and D2 on the Enchantment at all.
cb at sea Posted May 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2010 The "bedding" is the same in every cabin. It's only the actual floor space that will differ between an E and D, Js, Gs, Os, etc.....every cabin of the same "letter" catagory is the same size. emilygrace Posted May 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2010 I, too, get my best sleep on a cruise. There is just something about those comfy beds and the gentle rocking that practically puts me in a coma! I have to struggle to get up every day, but I don't want to miss things either. deban42 Posted May 25, 2010 #14 Share Posted May 25, 2010 That's is the point of a cruise. To get away from everything. And do what you want. We usually do ports and pool first part of day according if it is a sea day or not. Go to the cabin and take a nap. Then head out to do things on the ship and dinner. then back to cabin and sleep about 12. It's whatever you want.;)

jerin Posted May 25, 2010 #22 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Sea days: Sleep in (not late by most people's standards, but since I have usually left preschoolers at home, it's later than I'm accustomed to). MDR breakfast Sit on deck and read a bit Back to the cabin for a nap MDR lunch walk around, see what's going on nap up to the Windjammer for afternoon snack nap get ready for dinner drinks and watch dancing before dinner dinner show more drinks and dancing sleep I could do this every day on a transatlantic or transpacific, I think. The movement puts me right to sleep.
