The Morning Show.

Eating fresh fruit from the buffet, while in the cabin getting ready.

Breakfast

Dance lessons.

Lunch

Relaxing by/in the pool.

Parlor games with fellow passengers.

Napping

Dinner

Music and dancing.

Shows and movies.

A late night snack.

Being on deck under the stars when nobody else is around.

My FAVORITE thing I cannot mention as it is something I found to do where/when nobody else was around (get your mind out of the gutter). It is one of the most enjoyable/relaxing parts of my cruising but if I mention it everybody will want to do it and I will not be alone. :)

C'mon, you must tell us because now curiousity is way piqued. I mean look at it this way... you take a cruise every year or so, there are hundreds of boats with hundreds of trips so what are the chances that your "activity" would be ruined by you telling a select group of your closest CC friends...slim. So...????? Thanks.

Love spending quality time with the wife, meeting new friends, watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean, people watching, all of the great service/food, getting to know some of the crew and of course the CC get togethers. Life is good!!!

Since sailing with Princess (4 cruises to date), DH and I always book a balcony stateroom and would never cruise without one. We enjoy continental breakfast on the balcony, play Scrabble on the balcony each afternoon, sun ourselves on our balcony, watch sailaway on our balcony, savor a glass of wine on the balcony before dinner and after, stargaze, and look for other ships. The balcony has become like another room when we're sailing, and we make good use of it.

We also love dodging waves at various island beaches, playing Trivia with other passengers, and watching Karaoke (sometimes better than other shipboard entertainment).

Since I work, my most favorite thing is being awaken by the knock on the door by room service delivering that morning coffee. Then sitting on the balcony, drinking my coffee and seeing only the ocean and most of the time, a beautiful sky. No stress there!

Next is being able to eat whenever I feel like it and taking as long as I want to do it! Don't have to rush and gobble it down in a half hour! I love visiting the ports but sea days are are my true vacation as I don't have to be anywhere at any particular time. This is why I like personal choice dinning.

Just having the opportunity to relax with my DH for a week is a luxury. And then I love all those other wonderful things that are part of a Princess cruise:

Doing laps around the Promenade deck very early in the morning.

Stargazing from our balcony with my favorite drink.

Meeting wonderful interesting people.

Relaxing at Princess Cays on a beautiful sunny day...my DH loves the barbecue on Princess Cays!

Strangely enough we really enjoyed learning paddle tennis on the Island. It helped us work up an appetite! We went looking for the ice cream at 3:30 (once) and no one would tell us where it was. Didn't find out it was in the Horizen Court till we checked the boards on returning. We did enjoy the ice cream at lunch and dinner tho.

I chose other. I loved our balcony and will never have anything but. Gambling (they had my favorite machines, but they paid nothing, oh well, I had fun losing). People watching, whale watching, bird watching, meeting people. We had great tablemates, they were so much fun!

Dislikes? The long drive home. :(

Ahhh - I see your email is unavailable to respond to, but if you would please, please let me in on your secret I would so appreciate it. This March 5 we take our first Princess cruise and I'm thinking with the full ship we have we will be looking for a getaway. My email is in my profile :) Thanks!

Here is my 3 favorite things to do on a cruise:

1. Relax in the pool while listening to calypaso on the Lido Deck and making new friendships (Catching a buzz in the process)

2. Karaoke is a must. (Almost every night if its offered)

3. Casino (every night while waiting for DW to get ready for second seating) I always get ready first so I can hit the casino. DW pages me on the two way radios when she is ready.
