I like the eating/sleeping comment. I mainly like to "sail away" for a few days and do whatever I want whenever I want. In other words...NO SCHEDULE.

1.) Lounging far aft on the port or starboard side of the Lido deck (the horseshoe-shaped area), watching the horizon drift away hour after hour. :cool:

 

2.) Sipping a cocktail while doing item number 1.

It's a hard choice between dining and relaxing and reading. :) And, meeting new people.

Waking up in the morning and standing on the balcony and feeling like it's just me and the sea..

 

Reading a good book by the aft pool on the Golden, Caribbean or Grand Princess and enjoying the solitude...

 

Sitting in the jacuzzi with a rum drink and smoking an expensive cigar while watching a beautiful sunset...

 

Eating a different flavor ice cream from the Horizon Buffet at 3pm each day...

 

Enjoying the pool olympic escapes on sea days...

 

Dressing up for dinner and enjoying a bottle of wine with an elegant gourmet dinner...

 

Relaxing in the spa and getting a great swedish or stone massage....

 

Laughing until I'm crying while watching a great comedian like Sarge...

 

Ending each evening by making love with my wife and falling asleep to the hypnotic rocking of the ship.....

Eating, day-dreaming, quality time with my wife, reading, exploring, people-watching .... and pretty much everything that comes with being at sea.

I picked other: I can see myself sitting in a lounge chair, table beside me, one of those foo-foo drinks in my hand, maybe a magazine, I love to people watch, maybe take a nap, order another foo-foo drink, drooze again and then go take a shower and get dressed for dinner. I almost forgot the best part in that I have met some of the greatest people on cruises; CC groups and the person sitting next to me while I am sitting there with a foo foo drink in my hand. I also like my DH around too.:D

Sitting in the Lotus Spa pool/hot tub all by myself on the Sapphire Princess as we cruise out of Juneau on an unusually warm day, watching the beautiful mountains and just relaxing. :)

I love it ALL! But some of the best moments are the walk around an open deck in the AM with a music "tape" - just me and the ocean! :D

 

and.... of course everything that others have mentioned! Which is why I have 5 cruises planned for 2005!!! LOL! GotToCruise (aka Renee)
