Spa Question

Hi Friends:

I am a first time cruiser :)

I was advised by a poster on Carnivals board to wait until we board to make spa appointments; however, I am so scared I'll get on the ship and the spa will be all booked!

Does anyone know how quickly they actually fill? We're going out on 12/25 and I was thinking maybe a lot of people may be using the spa services as holiday gifts...

... I am wondering if I should just pay full price to have piece of mind?

Thanks!

Iv never heard of the spa booking up completely. Id guess on formals nights, its the busiest. Every single cruise Iv been on has had port specials, where they do a half treatment and you pick from a list, say 3 to 5 things, for about the price of one full threatment.

Port days are rarely busy in the spa.

Depends on what you want ... it might never be on sale. Iv never seen full body massages on sale, just the smaller ones, like foot massages, face or hand or some smaller treatment.
