We were sent a catalog in the mail that was sent to "resident." I saw that they have skorts that come to the knee. I like skorts at that length. I like to wear skorts but if they are shorter I look like an "old cheerleader," you know, not age appropriate. I do not look well in shorts, so I prefer to wear skorts, but they are hard to find in the longer length.

 

I was glad to find that Land End carried them and that they had a sale on them this past weekend. BTW, Since I ordered something, I am on the e-mail list now.

They do send me offers for a percent off AND free shipping but most times, it is for a specific article...swimsuits, men's polos....there was only one time that I did get an offer for 30% off and free shipping for any regular priced item. They are pretty rare.

Yes they sent me one for 40% plus free shi8pping for women's summer wear. I haven't looked to see what this specifically is. A couple of days ago it was for men's shirts. You are right, you get free shipping plus a percentage off for specific items.

Yep-that is what I do-but if at some point I want something I have the coupon. I also have other companies who daily send me offers-and occasionally I do use the offer-otherwise I just hit "delete." All of them give me the option of "unsubscribing," but I keep them because I occasionally want them.

 

I have a couple of e-mail accounts-one account-I use only for this-that way the e-mail account which my friends use-is not cluttered with this stuff.

 

Anyway I did not post this thread just for Iheart- who obviously could care less-but for anyone interested. At least one person benefited and appreciated my thread too.

Just what does this mean?

If you read my very first post, I said that the heads up you gave was great for anyone who was not on their mailing list and added a :). I also said good for you that you got the discount off and also the free shipping and once again added a :).

 

I was mentioning all the emails I get in a joking way, hence the :D. It has become a joke in our house about my "daily mail" from them and many times twice. I also said I had never seen such a blitz from a company. Yes, I can delete but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and after awhile becomes "junk mail" and annoying. They are making it seem like every sale is the best ever and after receiving so many, it's apparent that their sales are an ongoing strategy. That's why I said no one needs to feel bad if they missed one sale because another will be on the way.

Sorry but I never hinted that I did not need it nor did anyone else not need it. I was merely pointing out that since you posted the code on the 31st and it was only good til the 3rd, if anyone did not have a chance to use it at that time, not to worry because there would be another.

 

I tried to clear that up in my last post but you made no mention of understanding in any way.
