Papillon Tours..Anyone used them

We just did a Papillon tour with three other couples on our roll call. Roberto, one of the owners, gave us the tour (driver guide). The tour was pretty good and so much was packed into one day.

Highlights:

(1) Started with Leaning Tower of Pisa and all of us did the climb and walked around the Field of Miracles.

(2) Headed to lookout point over all of Florence. Roberto and the other driver guides will know what this is. We requested it. We then had lunch on our own in Florence and two hours of time on our own in Flrorence before one hour in the Accademy (had to see the David). Papillon picked up our tickets in advance and we avoided lines here.

(3) Drive through the Tuscany countryside to an estate/winery for a tour and wine tasting. That was pretty good. We all picked up some wine to bring back to the ship.

I would recommend Papillon and we will use them next time we are back. Their price for the entire day, not including admissions to Accademy and Pisa was 540 euros for the eight of us or 67.50 per piece. Can't complain about that. One of the reasons we booked them (and selections of all of our tours) is that they are local to this area and knew the area and were not concerned about getting "contracted out".
