Dining room embarkation lunch menu?

We're considering trying the dining room for lunch on embarkation day on our next cruise. Does anyone have the menu for the lunch that day, or remember what was served? Thanks in advance.

It will be a typical dining room lunch menu. I do not remember any specifics other than at least one seafood item, one beef item, and several other choices along with choices for salad, soup, dessert.

It varies by ship and will usually have 3 to 4 entree's and the always available burger etc on the left.

For us it has always been very good. ;)

I remember a few years ago I had the Grand Marnier soufle for embark lunch! :D now that was starting a cruise off right!:p

Everytime we have enjoyed embarkation day lunch in the dining room, there has been a nice beef entree, a salmon entree, the "always availables", a dessert souffle (yummy) among the choices. You won't be disappointed. :D

You will enjoy the selections.:) The MDR is open from 12:00 - 1:30 if I remember correctly.

Thanks, all. We normally eat lunch in the MDR during the cruise, so I know generally what to expect off the menus there. On the first day we always head to HC - not because we like it, but more out of tradition than anything else. I was thinking the MDR lunch menu might be more limited due to the smaller crowd expected. Good to hear it's just like the other days!

 

Before I forget - the MDR will be open for lunch on embarkation even if we have an overnight, correct? We sail from Venice the next day.

There are usually two entrees, one meat and one salmon. The salmon is excellent!
