Bar Harbor...Hot Lobster Roll

The thing is trying to find a "hot" lobster roll. The cold roll with mayonaise is easy to find. But we like the roll with the hot butter drizzled over it. These are harder to find.

Why don't you just ask for a "lazy lobster" in a roll with hot butter? Think that would work - just lobster meat no mayo. Jan

Although sometimes the lazy lobster is baked and has crumbs - I don't know any that specializes in this, but you could always send the different restaurants in town an e-mail

You've been going to the wrong restaurants . Stewman's Lobster Pound on the Bar Harbor waterfront has the lobster roll + coke for $14.50 plus tax and tip. The lobster roll has fresh lobster meat and a touch of mayo heaped on a toasted traditional roll; it is definitely not seafood salad.
