Madmen Era Cruising....Would you go back?

Hey Jim and Stan,

Wherever did you find that wonderful piece of nostalgia? I would love a copy to send to friends. Any chance you could help me out with this?

This will be my first time on Oceania, but looking forward to it. Have been use to far more formal cruises, so it will be an adjustment. Thinking of all the clothes that can be left behind.

Thanks!

Actually, it's not a robe Stritch is wearing but a long blouse over black tights. I saw the show on person and though, as she will be the first to tell you, she has the legs to pull it off, I also thought it was a bit inappropriate for her age.

The poster was actually referring to the b&w still photo of Elaine and Noel on the set of the play, not her performance on the video. (But I agree about her lack of costume on the vid.)

I brought 17 pairs of shoes on my last cruise (65 day/South America/Regent); all but two pair - hiking boots and running shoes - were black, including the flip flops. For ease of use, they were lined up all along one wall of my cabin. I felt like an idiot every time I walked past them, and needless to say, anyone (Stewards, room service, etc.) who walked past them had to comment, albeit politely, about the quantity and sameness of my collection. I simply could not decide prior to the trip which ones to bring so, I brought all 17. Regent enabled me by providing for Luggage Free to ship 2 of each passenger's suitcases for free.

After my own heart!

Guess I should have included more of the quote than I did, specifically this part:

hey Meow if you are alley catting you will just love this

That's why there was a ;). I was teasing Meow because we'd had a number of exchanges where she kept pushing back about why rates had gone up.

The cat lady loves this kind of stuff and I love that kitty for all her great info..
