Golden Princess to Hawaii in early Feb

Would appreciate hearing any advice or comments about the Golden Princess departing from LA in early Feb. I am interested in the weather and anyone's experience with the the sea days.

I have taken Princess but not to Hawaii but I have taken cruises between Los Angeles and Hawaii.

 

The weather can be a bit unpredictable as it can on any type of crossing. Likely expect cooler temperatures for the first two days as you make your way to Hawaii and on your return as you are two days off the California Coast. As you get closer to the Hawaii Islands the weather becomes nicer.

 

The seas are unpredictable. You might have calm seas or there might be times when they are a bit rough. This just varies voyage to voyage and year over year.

 

We have enjoyed this itinerary as it provides four sea days up front, then several days visiting ports and then four days to once again enjoy the ship prior to your return to Los Angeles.
