Quick Question about name changing

While I don't completely understand what goes on in a teenagers mind and may never understand. My DW's niece(teenager) thinks that she doesn't want to go NY and then go a cruise. So how long before the a cruise do we have to find someone to take her place and get the named changed?

We booked under past guest my DW niece is in a cabin with my MIL.

If you are before final payment you can change her out now, after final payment it costs $50 pp with that rate.
