Am I missing something or what? If you zoom in on the satellite view it appears to me that the ship is land locked . It seems the only way out of the basin is to the stern of the ship and that looks like a road.

Not sure where you can find a real time satellite view. Plenty of room to head out to sea on the AIS map tracking. The engines are fired up

Maybe it was just an engine trial. Kinda like moving away and back against the dock.

Aren't they like 6 hours or so ahead of us ... wouldn't it already be night time in France? It's not afternoon there, so what time zone is being referenced for 3-4 in the afternoon? Am confused.

 

whoever posted the 3-4 noted it was am. So it would be 6 hours. 3am France would be 9pm here.
