For the first time that I can recall Silversea has a full page advert in the travel section of the Times today. All 7 day Mediterranean cruises, from 7th August to the 9th October.

 

Either Silversea is changing their marketing model or filling those extra 270 suites in high season is proving challenging.

Could be Silver. I don't know wht SS is going to do about their Caribbean cruises this fall. Seabourn just sent me a brochure and their prices are 25% lower for a veranda on the Odyssey than what SS is charging for the Spirit. And, from what I heard Seabourn is not shabby.

 

OK I am ready to be "smoked" by the loyalists.;)

In this month let alone next month are we all not looking for value. We backed out of 2 cruises but are going on Silversea because it was the best and safest value.Cheap is not always cheap. Kathe

I agree that cheap is not always cheap but Sebaourn offers a very similar value and product so you won't be sacrificing anything by saving the money.
