Rhapsody out of Auckland

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know when Royal Caribbean will release Rhapsody's itineraries out of Auckland? After its transpacific it arrives in Auckland and has no cruises for Oct. and part of Nov. 2011.

They should be out now as the itineraries for Radiance are all set from when she leaves Vancouver in September of 2011 until her return to Vancouver in April of 2012.

She is missing about a month of cruises.

She arrives in Auckland on Oct 6, 2011, but doesn't have another cruise until Nov. 6, 2011 which leaves out of Sydney.

I thought she was suppose to do a few cruises out of Auckland, but they are not listed.

Is she having a long drydock or something?

According to the RCI website she is supposed to go in on February 16, 2012 for a 14 Night Dry Dock Cruise.

Maybe she's chartered...........or maybe it's weekend maintenance.

Radiance is the ship that will be sailing out of Auckland. Rhapsody will be sailing out of Sydney for the most part in 2011 and 2012 (when not in Alaska that is).

No. The Radiance will be sailing out of Sydney and Perth (Fremantle).

You are correct. Auckland will be a port stop for the Radiance.

Yeah... that's correct. I wasn't paying attention when I was on the RCL website looking at itineraries. :o

They do include _tickets_ to the games which, given the difficulty getting them and the price, may well make them absolute bargains!

I had heard from Captain Stein that RCCL was going to try interporting in Australia/NZ where people would join/get off the ship at different stops (ie, some may be doing a r/t from Sydney while others from Aukland). Could that be the confusion?
